Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking an experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Tech to perform diagnostic imaging, ensure patient safety, and operate imaging equipment in a supportive clinical setting.

The role includes preparing patients, documenting visits, and maintaining licensure while pursuing ongoing education to improve imaging skills under provider supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and TN X-Ray license.
• ARRT certification preferred; medical assistant experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, patient care, and safety awareness skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate effectively with patients, providing guidance and addressing concerns.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and other pertinent information.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Operate diagnostic equipment, prepare patients, and follow radiation safety protocols.
• Perform quality control checks and report equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient visits and procedures.
• Stay current with imaging knowledge and maintain licensure and certification.
