Job summary

OrthoIllinois is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to operate radiologic equipment, position patients, and obtain high-quality diagnostic images. You will ensure patient comfort and safety while following regulatory standards and organizational policies.

The role requires an Associate degree in Radiology, ARRT and IEMA certifications, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Experience in a high-volume facility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Radiology Technologist program is required.
• Current ARRT and IEMA certifications are required.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft and Google suites.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Positions patient and adjusts equipment for optimum views as requested.
• Adheres to radiation safety measures and government regulations.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality and preserves patient safety.
• Documents procedures and assists physicians as needed.
