Job summary

University Radiology is seeking a Per-Diem X-Ray Technologist to support our Somerset, NJ Imaging Office. The role requires an experienced radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with patient-centered care and flexibility to cover shifts.

Candidates should be graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology School and hold ARRT certification with CPR and NJ DEP license; multi-modality X-Ray/DEXA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology School.
• Three or more years of experience preferred.
• ARRT, CPR and DEP/NJ State License.
• Multi-modality certification preferred (X-Ray/DEXA).

Responsibilities

• Float to Somerset Imaging Office to provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services in a patient-focused environment.
• Cover shifts as needed and adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

Overview

University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

Responsibilities

University Radiology is seeking an experienced Per-DiemX-Ray Technologistto float to ourSomerset, NJ Imaging Office. This role requires an experienced professional to provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services in a patient focused environment, who is willing to cover shifts as needed.

*May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and mustbe able toadhere to all department and facility safety protocols.
