Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Rosenberg, TX is seeking a qualified radiologic technologist to join our fast-growing outpatient practice. You will perform X-rays, position and assist in MRI for the ROCC team, screen patients, start IVs and administer contrast, and enter all patient notes in RIS.

Requirements include BLS, ARRT certification, and an active state license. The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds, standing for extended periods, and adhering to safety and patient-care standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed radiologic technologist with ARRT certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• State license to practice radiography.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform X-rays
• Positions and assists in MRI for theROCC team
• Screens patients
• Starts IV's and administers contrast
• Enters all patient notes in RIS
• Demonstrates competency in the performance of job related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service.
• Utilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations.
