Job summary

Outpatient Imaging Affiliates in Omaha, NE is seeking an X-Ray Technologist for a Full-Time Flex Day shift. You will perform diagnostic radiography, prepare and position patients, and collaborate with a fast-paced imaging team to deliver high-quality care.

This role requires an Associate degree in Radiology, ARRT certification, and BLS within 60 days of hire. There is opportunity to cross-train with MRI and support students, with no on-call, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and current ARRT registration; state licensure as required.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures following established protocols.
• Prepare, position, and communicate with patients to ensure comfort, safety, and high image quality.
• Review patient history and orders to ensure appropriate imaging.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and digital records.
• Support students and residents through instruction and preceptorship as needed.
• Assist other imaging modalities and departments when workload allows.
