Job summary

American Family Care Old Bridge is seeking a radiologic technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, assist with patient care, and handle administrative duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree or equivalent, be ARRT-registered, and hold a NJ license. This role involves compassionate patient interaction, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining quality control measures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or six months to one year of related experience.
• Must be ARRT-registered.
• NJ Licensed as per state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain procedures to them compassionately.
• Position patients appropriately for imaging procedures.
• Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques.
• Process and prepare images for physician reading.
• Maintain and repair diagnostic imaging equipment as needed.
• Serve as Medical Receptionist or Medical Assistant when necessary.
