Job summary

American Family Care seeks a Radiologic Technologist in Gastonia, NC to perform radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures in support of physicians. You will greet patients, position them correctly, ensure radiation safety, and prepare images for reads by physicians and radiologists.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, ARRT- registration or board eligibility, and state licensure. Competitively paid hourly with comprehensive benefits and opportunities in a growing urgent care

Qualifications

• ARRT-registered or board eligibility is preferred.
• Licensed per state regulation to practice radiography.
• Other related certifications may be acceptable depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain procedures with compassion.
• Position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques.
• Process images and prepare for physician reading/overreads.
• Operate digital and non-digital imaging equipment per policy.
• Support provider with patient treatments and related tasks.
