Job summary

Patient First is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to obtain high-quality x-rays with proper positioning while ensuring patient safety and following all OSHA guidelines. The role includes assisting physicians and nurses, documenting imaging, and maintaining equipment and paperwork in a fast-paced center.

The candidate must be ARRT registered or a graduate of an approved Limited Radiologic Technologist program, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT registration or completion of an approved Limited Radiologic Technologist program is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays with correct positioning and exposure.
• Follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure for patients, self, and staff.
• Assist physicians, extenders, and nurses with patient treatment and triage.
• Document and file x-ray paperwork and maintain records.
• Clean work area and perform OSHA-compliant cleanup and maintenance tasks.
• Restock x-ray and treatment area supplies as needed.
• Attend training classes and staff meetings; supervise externs and radiologic technologist assistants in room.
• Be available to assist as needed during breaks to maintain center operations.
