Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Syracuse, NY is seeking a compassionate Medical Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Technologist) to join our outpatient Radiology team. This full-time, direct-hire role focuses on producing high-quality diagnostic images while delivering excellent patient care.

You will perform general radiography, position patients, verify orders, operate equipment, and ensure patient safety. Credentials include NYS Radiologic Technologist license/eligibility, ARRT, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Radiography or equivalent.
• NYS Radiologic Technologist license/registration or eligibility.
• ARRT certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiography procedures, including patient positioning and image acquisition.
• Prepare patients and accurately interpret physician orders for imaging exams.
• Operate radiographic equipment and adjust technical factors to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Ensure patient safety through proper shielding and radiation protection practices.
• Review images for quality and completeness.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient patient flow.

Education
