Job summary
Modern Machining Solutions Inc in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Medical Radiology Technologist to join its outpatient Radiology team. This full-time, direct-hire position focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic X-ray images while providing compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities include positioning patients, operating radiographic equipment, and ensuring image quality. You must have an Associate Degree in Medical Radiography, NY radiologic technologist licensure or eligibility, ARRT
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Medical Radiography or equivalent.
- NYS Radiologic Technologist license/registration or eligibility.
- ARRT certification required.
- Current BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Perform general radiography procedures, including patient positioning and image acquisition.
- Prepare patients and accurately interpret physician orders for imaging exams.
- Operate radiographic equipment and adjust technical factors to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
- Ensure patient safety through proper shielding and radiation protection practices.
- Review images for quality and completeness.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient patient flow.
