The Indian Health Service is looking for an X-Ray Technologist (CT) in Virginia, Minnesota. You will provide essential imaging services, perform CT examinations, and support emergency care for American Indian communities.
The successful candidate will have an accredited training program in radiologic technology and current certification as a radiographer. This role requires collaboration with medical professionals and may include on-call hours and rotating shifts.

Perform CT and diagnostic radiology procedures, support trauma and emergency care, and help deliver quality patient care to American Indian communities.
On‑call hours or standby duty may be required. Position may be subject to rotating shifts: days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
IHS Selectees that will work in an IHS health care facility may be subject to Employee Health Policies related to Measles and Rubella, and seasonal influenza immunizations. Vaccine exemption requests may be available according to the National and/or Service Unit guidance.
Applicants must meet the credentialing requirements of Public Law 97‑35 and 42 C.F.R. Part 75 for radiologic personnel. This includes successful completion of an accredited radiologic technology educational program and current certification/registration as a radiographer.

GS‑08: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS‑07 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing tasks such as routine CT examinations, patient preparation, equipment operation, contrast administration, and maintaining radiology documentation.
GS‑09: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS‑08 grade level in the Federal service performing tasks such as independent CT examinations with advanced protocols, trauma and critically ill patient imaging, advanced equipment operation, contrast management, quality control, radiation dose monitoring, equipment troubleshooting, and collaboration with radiologists.
OR two (2) years (36 semester hours) of graduate education directly related to the position.
OR a master's degree or equivalent directly related to the position.
OR a combination of graduate education and specialized experience; only graduate education beyond the first year (18 semester hours) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement.

Only attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education may be credited. If foreign education is used, a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency must be provided.
