The Diagnostic Specialist I performs radiologic procedures, assists in the coordination of patient flow into and out of the x‑ray area, ensures supplies are available, is responsible for daily maintenance of equipment and organization of x‑ray films, and utilizes the PACS system to process films. The role includes registering x‑ray studies and patients in PACS and entering the system at completion of the study so billing can be performed.
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $46.5191 – $56.753 hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
