SimonMed Imaging in Florida is seeking an X-ray Technologist to deliver diagnostic X-ray exams with precision and compassionate patient care. You will position patients, check image quality, and ensure ALARA safety while maintaining accurate documentation in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography certification is required.
• Valid state licensure where required.
• BLS certification current or in progress.
• 1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred; ambulatory care a plus.
• Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure diagnostic-grade results.
• Manage workflow and room setup; troubleshoot equipment with minimal supervision.
• Provide compassionate patient interaction, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.

Key Responsibilities

Precision and clinical expertise: You perform high-quality diagnostic X‑ray exams with correct technique and positioning, evaluate your own images for technical quality, and produce diagnostic‑grade results that physicians count on—right the first time.

Mastery of standards and systems: You know your anatomy, protocols, and equipment. You are proficient in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems, apply ALARA radiation safety principles without being reminded, and maintain clean, complete, real‑time documentation.

Agility and autonomy: You manage your own workflow, keep your room ready, and troubleshoot equipment issues without slowing the team down. You adapt to a high‑volume schedule and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
• Valid state licensure current (where required)
• BLS certification current or in progress
• 1–2 years of X‑ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus
• Associate’s degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
• Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Compensation

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of the United States only. This range is intended to reflect the role's base salary rate in locations throughout the US. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, alignment with market data, and geographic location. The base salary range does not include any bonuses, equity, or benefits.

North California: $32.00 - $47.00

South California: $30.00 - $40.00

Colorado: $27.00 - $37.00

Illinois: $25.00 - $37.00

New York: $37.00 - $41.00

For locations not listed above, compensation will be discussed with candidates during the interview process.
