Job summary

Upperline Health is hiring a X-ray Technician in California to join a multidisciplinary team. You will perform radiographic imaging of lower extremities, explain procedures to patients, and support physicians with in-office care and vitals.

The role requires a CA Limited X-ray license (newly licensed OK) and experience with EMR systems. Competitive pay, weekday clinic hours, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• A current Limited X-ray license in CA is required.
• Newly licensed applicants welcome.
• Experience performing x-rays of extremities is highly preferred.
• Medical Assistant experience or recent graduate is acceptable.
• Healthcare clinic experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Previous EMR experience (Athena preferred).
• Must be an effective communicator with excellent grammar and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic, compassionate, and professional demeanor in interactions.
• Stable work history gewen.

Responsibilities

• Explain x-ray procedures to patients to ensure safety and comfort.
• Position patients correctly for radiological procedures and take radiographic images (lower extremities).
• Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures and ensure quality images.
• Review medical history and reconcile medications in the EMR.
• Assist physicians with minor in-office procedures and patient care.
• Obtain vitals, bandaging and DME fitting as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms and equipment.

X-ray Technician Qualifications

• A current Limited X-ray license in CA isrequired- Open to newly licensed applicants
• PreviousX-ray Tech experience is highly preferred
• Experience performing x-rays of extremities highly preferred - lower extremities is ideal
• Medical Assistant experience or recent graduate
• Healthcare clinic experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Previousexperience working in an EMR is preferred, Athena is preferred
• Must be an effective communicator with excellent grammar and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service orientation featuring an empathetic,compassionateand professional demeanor with each interaction
• Demonstrated experience as a reliable and dedicated co-worker with a stable work history
• High school graduaterequired;Bachelor’sdegree preferred
• Reliable transportation is required

Compensation:

$25-$35/hr commensurate to compensation for similar positions in the region and based on prior training and experience
