Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology procedures, prepare exam rooms, and assist with Medical Assistant duties in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, equipment operation, film development, safety protocols, and maintaining accurate records under provider supervision. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of anatomy and physiology and ARRT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant advantageous.

• Greet patients and communicate wait times effectively
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergies
• Prepare patients for radiologic exams, ensuring safety and proper technique
• Perform quality control checks on equipment and report malfunctions
• Follow documentation protocols and complete required patient visit records
• Maintain current licensure and certification, and enhance diagnostic skills
