Job summary

Florida Radiology Consultants is seeking an Evening Radiology Technologist for Delray Medical Center. This full-time role involves operating radiographic equipment, following imaging protocols, and delivering optimal diagnostic images while adhering to ALARA principles.

Applicants should be graduates of an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registered, Florida licensed, and BLS certified. Two years of acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited radiologic technology program.
  • ARRT registered in radiology and Florida license.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operates radiographic equipment following manufacturer specifications.
  • Follows imaging protocols for ordered exams and ALARA principles.
  • Obtains optimum diagnostic images and participates in quality and process improvement initiatives.
  • Performs timely documentation in radiology information systems.
  • Completes other duties such as precepting radiology students as requested.

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

Participates in the quality, process and performance improvement initiatives as requested. Performs timely documentation in radiology computer systems. Completes other assigned duties as requested, such as precepting radiology students, etc.

Education
  • Graduate of accredited, competency based program in radiologic technology
Experience
  • 2 years' experience in an acute care setting preferred
Required Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • ARRT registered
  • Florida license
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
