Position SummaryThe X-Ray Technologist is responsible for using the x-ray equipment to produce diagnosing images.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for explaining the procedure performed to the patient.Prepares the patient for x-rays by making sure they are properly positioned for optimal results.Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials.Ensures equipment is in working order.
