Job summary

IVI RMA North America is seeking a Full-Time X-Ray Technologist for our Surgery Center in Basking Ridge, NJ. You will operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images and ensure patient safety, under physician supervision.

Requirements include NJ radiology license, 2+ years experience, and BLS certification. Weekend rotation is required. Benefits include comprehensive options after 30 hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology Technology.
• Current New Jersey Radiology license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 2+ years of Radiology Technologist experience required.
• Experience in women’s health or reproductive endocrinology preferred.

Job description

Join one of the nation's leading fertility organizations! IVI RMA North America is seeking a Full-Time X-Ray Technologist to support our Surgery Center in Basking Ridge, NJ. Become part of a compassionate team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advancing reproductive medicine.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Required to work two weekends per month as part of a rotating schedule.

Job Purpose

Under the direct supervision of a Physician, the X-Ray Technologist will operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. This individual will accurately position radiologic equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance following established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety.

Essential Functions And Accountabilities

• Performs detailed radiographic examinations.
• Establishes personal rapport with patients.
• Provides explanations of procedures.
• Understands, and is able, to follow MD protocols for procedures.
• Effectively operates all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job.

Academic Training

• Graduate of accredited School of Radiology Technology
• Studies level: Graduate of Accredited School
• Studies area: Radiology Technology
• Current New Jersey Radiology license - required
• Studies level: License
• Studies area: Radiology Technology
• Current BLS Certification - required
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: BLS

Position Requirements/Experience

• Previous experience in women\'s health or reproductive endocrinology and infertility – preferred
• 2+ years of experience as a Radiology Technologist – required

Technical Skills

• Competency in operating C-arm equipment.
• Proficient in computer programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
