Responsibilities include:

• Obtaining quality x-rays with correct positioning and radiation exposure
• Implementing safety procedures for patients, staff, and self
• Creating and documenting x-ray CD copies following Patient First guidelines
• Labeling images and sleeves correctly
• Understanding and using x-ray and processing equipment properly
• Using the bell system, maintaining paperwork, and ensuring patient safety
• Using systems like Daily Log, X-Ray Listing, Copy Listing, and X-Ray Status Screen
• Handling automated medical records system
• Cleaning work areas following OSHA guidelines
• Receiving, restocking supplies, and maintaining equipment
• Adhering to policies and responding to physician and nurse requests
• Completing checklists for x-ray and treatment areas
• Attending training and staff meetings
• Being available as needed, including breaks and mealtimes
• Operating and maintaining medical and office equipment as trained

Minimum requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Keyboarding skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Preferred: 1 year clerical and clinical experience
• Registered with ARRT
• Licensed as Radiologic Technologist by Maryland Board of Physicians

Salary Range: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour, depending on experience.
