CARENOW - SOUTHPARK MEADOWS MSO, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an X-Ray Technician LMRT PRN to provide timely radiology services and support patient care.

You will perform quality checks on radiology equipment, handle in-house labs, and collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient, high-quality care across locations.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
• LMRT license in Texas.
• 1+ year of clinical experience beneficial.
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and communication.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiology procedures in a timely, high-quality manner.
• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
• Conduct in-house lab tests including drug screens and specimen processing.
• Maintain records for in-house labs and x-ray releases.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
• Follow occupational procedures and follow client preferences.
• Cross-train for front desk duties (greeting, check-in/out, records release).
• Be prepared to work alternate shifts and float to other clinics as needed.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.

Job Summary and Qualifications

In this role, you will:

• As an X-Ray Technician you will perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.

• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.

• Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.

• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.

• Works closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

• Ensure occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.

• Is cross trained for front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.

• You may be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations. Works with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and that patients receive high quality care and services.

• Assist with general patient care when needed.

You should have:

• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences

• LMRT - Limited Medical Radiology Technician license in Texas

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial

• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start

• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion
