Job summary

Proliance Surgeons in Seattle is seeking an X-Ray Technician to perform imaging procedures for ambulatory surgery and care center needs. You will assist with patient care and operate radiology equipment under clinical leadership.

The role requires attention to radiation safety, proper patient positioning, and accurate documentation. Prior radiology experience and BCLS certification are preferred, with opportunity for growth within the Radiology team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its Equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year clinical radiology experience preferred.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of radiology equipment and routine maintenance.
• Perform radiologic examinations following protocols.
• Operate radiologic and PACS equipment and ensure proper patient positioning.
• Calculate exposure factors and apply radiation safety principles.
• Document and store images according to policy; bill for services.
• Coordinate image sharing between sites and organizations.
• Assist with housekeeping to maintain a safe patient environment.
• Under supervision of Radiology team or physician.
