Shoreline Orthopaedics is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician – C-Arm to join our Radiology team. You will perform diagnostic radiographs and fluoroscopic imaging to assist physicians in evaluating musculoskeletal conditions and in-office procedures, while upholding sterile technique and patient safety.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered or registry eligible with required continuing education.
• Competency in C-arm operation and fluoroscopic imaging.
• Experience with sterile field setup and procedural environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographs using proper positioning and shielding.
• Operate C-arm fluoroscopy during in-office procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and procedural equipment.
• Provide C-arm imaging support during outpatient procedures at the Westpark Surgery Center.
• Maintain imaging equipment and rooms following infection prevention and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with imaging protocols and radiation safety regulations.
• Manage digital imaging, documentation, and image transfer.
• Become proficient with imaging and procedural software systems used in the practice.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient care as needed.
• Promote a safe, organized, and efficient environment for patients and teammates.

About the Position

Shoreline Orthopaedics is seeking a skilled and patient-focused X-Ray Technician – C-Arm to join our Radiology team.

In this role, you'll perform high-quality diagnostic radiographs and fluoroscopic imaging to assist physicians in evaluating musculoskeletal conditions and performing in-office procedures. Working closely with orthopedic specialists, you'll help provide safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care while supporting both diagnostic and procedural services in a fast-paced orthopedic practice.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographs using proper positioning, radiation safety, and shielding techniques.
• Operate C-arm fluoroscopy during in-office procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and procedural equipment.
• Provide C-arm fluoroscopic imaging support during outpatient surgical procedures at Shoreline's Westpark Surgery Center while maintaining sterile technique and radiation safety standards
• Maintain imaging equipment and procedure rooms while following infection prevention and quality control standards.
• Ensure compliance with imaging protocols, radiation safety regulations, and organizational policies.
• Manage digital imaging, documentation, and image transfer across internal and external systems.
• Become proficient with all imaging and procedural software systems used throughout the practice.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist providers with clinical procedures and additional patient care responsibilities as needed.
• Promote a safe, organized, and efficient environment for patients and teammates.

• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal radiographic positioning and anatomy
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to image quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced orthopedic practice

• Experience with sterile technique and procedural support preferred

Education & Experience

• ARRT registered or registry eligible with required continuing education
• Demonstrated competency in C-arm operation and fluoroscopic imaging
• Experience with sterile field setup and procedural environments preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Schedule flexibility Monday through Friday 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM, occasional Saturday’s 7:30-12:30 pm
• Ability to safely work with radiation-producing equipment, specialty orthopedic equipment, and appropriate personal protective equipment
