Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Technicians to join our healthcare team in Germantown, TN. Perform x-ray testing, operate diagnostic equipment, develop films, and assist with Medical Assistant duties.

Responsibilities include patient greeting, treatment guidance, vital signs, and assisting with procedures under provider supervision; maintain safety, equipment checks, and ongoing radiologic skill updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Certification required.
• State X-Ray License required.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Medical Assistant experience is a plus.

Role Overview

Perform x-ray testing, including body mechanics and patient movement, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Operate diagnostic equipment, develop films, prepare exam rooms, and assist with Medical Assistant duties.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and communicate with patients, provide treatment guidance, recognize emergent situations, and conduct follow-up calls. Assist with patient check-in/out, document vital signs, medical history, and assist with procedures under provider supervision. Ensure equipment functionality, follow safety and regulatory procedures, and maintain quality control. Keep current with diagnostic imaging skills and licensure requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification
• State X-Ray License
• ARRT Certification preferred
• Medical Assistant experience is a plus
