Job summary

USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center in The Woodlands is seeking a dedicated X-Ray Tech to perform radiographic procedures in a 4-OR environment with a treatment room. Weekday schedule only, no holidays, weekends, or on-call, with occasional early mornings or late evenings as surgical schedules dictate.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT and BLS certifications, and prior surgical/hospital experience. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification.
• BLS certification.
• Previous surgical or hospital experience.
• Strong imaging techniques and safety knowledge.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced surgical setting.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Adapt to various imaging needs during procedures.
• Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician.
• Maintain imaging quality and ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with surgeons and nursing teams during procedures.
