Job summary

CareSpot is a Florida-based urgent care provider delivering patient-centered, everyday healthcare with extended hours and online scheduling. We are seeking a dedicated X-ray Technician to prepare patients for radiologic procedures and assist clinicians as needed.

The role involves performing X-rays, ensuring ALARA and shielding standards, maintaining exam logs, and supporting front-office tasks such as payments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and one of the following licenses: Radiologic Technologists or Basic Machine Operator (BMO).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Ability to pass Level II background screening and AHCA clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform X-rays within scope of practice.
• Practice patient shielding and ALARA standards.
• Keep accurate logs of exams including documentation of LMP and shielding.
• Verify the condition of network and X-ray server.
• Clean cassettes, table and chest board after each procedure.
• Perform additional front and back office duties as required by daily operations (collect payments).

POSITION SUMMARY

What youll bring to the table

• A high school diploma or equivalent as well as one of the following licenses: License for Radiologic Technologists or Basic Machine Operator
• Wed also prefer you to have prior recent experience in a healthcare setting such as an emergency department urgent care or other ambulatory clinic
