• Ensures equipment is in good working order and reports equipment malfunction to management.
• Performs clerical duties including filing of x-ray reports and maintaining accurate log journals.
• Maintains and stocks procedure rooms.
• Orders supplies as needed.
• Abides by OSHA guidelines.
• Maintains patient and practice confidentiality.
• Maintains professional demeanor with patients, caregivers, physicians and coworkers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What will you do as a PMC X-Ray Tech:

The Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) performs radiologic procedures as ordered by physicians. The X-Ray Tech Performs interpretive, patient care, and technical functions to ensure the proper radiological diagnosis of patients. Performs a variety of tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated body portions.

A day in the life of a PMC Medical Assistant may include:

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures.

Required Qualifications

Education: (Including Licenses and Certifications): Associate's degree in Applied Science or a similar field required. Completion of approved Radiologic Technology course by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with data entry operations. Detailed-oriented with strong financial emphasis. Medical office experience preferred. Insurance processing experience is highly desired.
