Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for x-ray (positioning and shielding).
• Perform x-rays as required by physicians.
• Perform C-ARM procedures.
• Document procedures in the log book.
• Help transport patients back to OR rooms.
• Communicate with physicians, patients and staff.
• Ensure equipment is maintained properly.
• Order x-ray supplies as needed.
• Pull, file and mail back x-rays.
• Answer patient questions.
• Help turnover rooms (cleanup and waste disposal).

Responsibilities

Position Summary: Responsible for assisting physician in patient care, performing all necessary x-rays, with a high degree of quality, escort patients to rooms, order medical and x-ray supplies, maintain x-ray records.

• Prepare patients for x-ray


• Perform x-rays as required by physicians


• Perform C-ARM procedure


• Document procedure performed in log book


• Help Transport patients back to OR rooms


• Communication with physicians, patients and staff


• Ensure equipment is maintained properly


• Order x-ray supplies as needed


• Pulling, filing and mail back of x-rays.


• Answer patient questions


• Help turn over rooms (mopping floors, taking out garbage, wiping down equipment)


• Other duties delegated by management, RN, and Leads

Qualifications

Education Required: High school graduate or equivalent.

• Must be AART and/or Ohio Radiography license.
