Qualifications

• Current certification or licensure as a radiologic technologist per Utah State law.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience performing diagnostic X-ray procedures in a clinical setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety practices and imaging principles.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills.
• Flexibility to work part-time and PRN shifts based on departmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations per orders and imaging protocols.
• Explain procedures to patients and promote comfort and safety.
• Position patients to obtain high-quality images with minimal repeats.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow radiation safety standards and infection control procedures.
• Document imaging exams and maintain patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff.
• Monitor supply levels and report equipment or workflow issues.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through professional communication.
