Job summary

MD Now urgent care, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an X-Ray Tech - Medical Assistant to join our team in Florida. The role combines radiology duties with patient-care responsibilities in an urgent care environment.

You will take vital signs, assist with imaging, manage patient history in the EHR, and support check-in/check-out processes while maintaining accurate records and logs. Team-based culture and growth opportunities encouraged.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain records and logs for in-house and sent-out labs and drug screens.

Skills

1+ year clinical experience

EHR experience

Vital signs and phlebotomy basics

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or approved program (BOTP)

Radiological Technologist (RT) or BMXO/BMO license (state)

AAMA certification preferred

Current BLS certification
