Job summary

MD Now Urgent Care is seeking a X-ray Technician / Medical Assistant dedicated to high‑quality patient care. You will perform imaging, take vital signs, collect specimens, run EKGs and administer IM injections, while updating patient charts in the EHR.

Additional duties include aiding with check‑in/out and maintaining logs of lab work and imaging results. This role offers an incentive‑eligible package with a sign‑on bonus up to $3,500.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• Licensure in Radiologic Technologist (RT) or BMXO/BMO required in state of residency.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs and IM injections.
• Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to orders and update charts.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain records and logs for in-house and send-out lab work.
• Inform patients and visitors about clinic progress.

Job Summary And Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

Take vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKG’s, and administering IM injections.

Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and updates patient charts accordingly.

Collect patient history and documenting EHR appropriately.

You may apply splints, dressings and bandages.

Assist with check‑in/check‑out when needed including auditing charts.

Maintain records and logs on activities including in‑house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.

Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.

You should have:

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
• Radiological Technologist (RT) or Basic X‑ray Machine Operator (BMXO / BMO), license is required in state of residency.
• Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred.
• Current BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
