Job summary

Patient First in Annandale, VA is seeking an experienced X-ray Technician Supervisor to lead the radiology team and ensure high-quality imaging services. The role encompasses administrative duties, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with state specifications and DR/PACS workflows.

The ideal candidate will be ARRT-certified, capable of coordinating with physicians, and committed to patient care, safety, and efficient center operations. This full-time position offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT registered or graduate of approved Limited Radiologic Technologist program
• Must be 18+ years old and able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 7 hours; strong verbal/written communication

Responsibilities

• Supervise all X-ray Techs and ensure quality work
• Administer as needed while performing X-ray tech duties
• Ensure X-ray staff are qualified per state specs and adhere to safety protocols
• Coordinate with PACS Administrator for appropriate image ordering and archiving
• Process images with DR and archive via PACS
• Respond to physician requests with timely, respectful communication
• Maintain QA, radiation monitoring records, and state QA book
• Provide patient care and exceptional customer service
• Attend staff meetings and train new staff
• Maintain equipment and records in the X-ray Department
• Complete other duties as directed
