Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Dover Casting in Dover, New Jersey, seeks an XRAY Inspector to operate X-ray equipment and inspect metal castings for internal defects. The role spans Level I trainee to Level II certification, with training on first shift and potential advancement based on competency.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must pass initial Jaeger 1 visual test.
• Certified Level I operator (Level II preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray units (320 KV, 450 KV, MEV, digital) for metal castings.
• Load and process film cassettes; verify film densities.
• Maintain inspection records and NADCAP compliance.
• Pass RT Level I/II exams with ≥80% and maintain certifications.
• Keep work area clean, safe and well-organized.
