Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiology program.
• Current ARRT registration.
• State licensure where required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Competency in venipuncture, aseptic technique, universal precautions and documentation, contrast administration, and use of power injector.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations with proficiency, ensuring proper patient positioning and technique.
• Verifies patient identity, reviews requisitions and chart orders, and records patient history per ACR standards.
• Applies radiation safety protocols and adjusts factors based on patient anatomy for quality images.
• Conducts quality assurance and control activities per credentialing requirements to drive improvement.
• Maintains a safe, organized work environment and professional conduct with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
