Job summary

Health Here is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray, fluoroscopy, and CT procedures under physician supervision, across all ages. The role emphasizes radiation safety, sterile technique, patient positioning, and high-quality imaging.

You will use PACS for documentation, review patient history, and collaborate with medical staff. On-call duties and equipment maintenance may be involved; CT certification is preferred within 12 months, and CPR is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Valid state radiographer license.
• CT certification preferred within 12 months.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Key responsibilities include executing various imaging procedures such as fluoroscopy, portable XR, and CT studies, practicing radiation safety, and utilizing sterile techniques when necessary.
• The technologist ensures proper patient positioning, operates all imaging equipment, and evaluates image quality. They utilize departmental computer systems and PACS for documentation and review patient history.
• Additional duties involve patient care, coordination with medical staff, handling scheduling calls, maintaining equipment, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Qualifications include graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, current ARRT certification, and a valid state radiographer license. Certification in CT is preferred within 12 months. CPR certification is required.
• The role requires physical ability to handle medium work, exerting force to move objects, and the ability to respond to on-call responsibilities.
