Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registration and/or CRT certification (or registry eligible).
• Iowa certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, verify identity and x-ray requests, and confirm procedures with patients.
• Position and take X-rays of chest, limbs or other body parts as requested by physicians.
• Adjust kilovoltage and milliamperage to prescribed exposure for proper image timing.
• Maintain infection control and safety procedures in the work area.
• Operate EMR/HIS/RIS and PACS systems and document patient data.
• Ensure radiographic equipment is maintained and report repairs as needed.
