Job summary

Gopuff is seeking a Customer Service Representative in New York, NY, to assist customers and ensure smooth order fulfillment operations. You'll be greeting and helping customers, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. The compensation is based on market pricing, with a pay rate of $17.25 per hour for this role.

Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Help customers locate products and make recommendations.
• Build customer loyalty through exceptional service.
• Support checkout operations and customer transactions.

Order Fulfillment

• Pick and prepare online pickup orders.
• Assemble local delivery orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare shipping orders according to company standards.
• Ensure all orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Communicate order issues promptly to leadership.

Store Operations

• Stock shelves and maintain product presentation.
• Replenish inventory throughout the day.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
• Support merchandising and promotional displays.
• Processing transactions

Inventory Management

• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Verify product accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Support inventory organization and backroom standards.
• Help reduce shrink through attention to detail and process compliance.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow all alcohol sales and ID verification requirements.
• Comply with company policies and operational procedures.
• Maintain workplace safety standards.
• Report safety concerns immediately.

Qualifications

Pay

• Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing, and pay may vary depending on your location. Compensation for U.S. locations is based on a cost-of-labor index for that geographic area.
• New York, NY Pay Rate: USD $17.25/hr
