Job summary

Molex is expanding its Wavelength Management (WLM) business and seeks a Product Line Manager for WSS products to drive lifecycle, profitability, and cross-functional execution in telecom and datacom networks.

You will partner with Sales, R&D/Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain, including the Zhuhai factory, to ensure launch readiness, cost control, and disciplined documentation across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or closely related technical discipline.
• Experience in product line management, project management, program management, or operations leadership in a tech/manufacturing setting.
• Ability to comprehend and communicate WSS specifications to engineering and operations stakeholders.
• Demonstrated capability to drive execution in a matrix organization through influence and structured communications.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to convert inputs into customer-ready insights.
• Familiarity with Agile document management / change control systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive WSS product line performance including portfolio health, lifecycle management, and financial results.
• Manage product lifecycle activities for WSS products, including launch, sustaining, refresh, and EOL planning.
• Drive NPI readiness and commercialization: requirements alignment, schedule tracking, risk management, ramp planning.
• Partner with R&D/Engineering to understand WSS specifications and ensure manufacturability/readiness.
• Lead sustaining production issue resolution impacting yield, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Build business cases/ROI for investments in tooling, capacity, and supplier changes.
