Job summary

Seminole State College of Florida seeks a part-time tutor to support students across levels in assigned disciplines. The role involves tutoring, orientations, and assisting staff, with attendance at training sessions as required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
• Experience tutoring students is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the discipline and in English.

Responsibilities

• Tutors college preparatory students and college-level students needing help at all levels of the assigned academic discipline.
• Conducts orientations to the assigned area.
• Assists staff in assigned area with various tasks.
• Attends mandatory tutor training seminars and other meetings when scheduled.
• Performs other duties as may be required or assigned.
