Brandon School District is seeking a varsity athletics/activities coach to lead the program with responsibility for players, practices, equipment, and supervision at games and travel. The role requires enforcing district, league, and state rules and maintaining professional conduct.

The coach will communicate effectively with players, officials, parents, administrators, and community members while prioritizing athlete safety and welfare in all activities.

Qualifikationen

• Must have organizational skills and aptitude commensurate with coaching level.
• Demonstrated ability to work with and motivate young people and adults.
• Must be available during the time requirements of the position.
• CPR/AED certification is required.

Aufgaben

• Directly responsible for all matters relative to the program including player personnel, practice sessions, care and maintenance of equipment and supervision of players during practice, games, travel and other team functions.
• Be knowledgeable of and consistently enforce school, District, League and state association (MHSAA) rules and policies.
• Effectively communicate with players, officials, fellow coaches, parents, administrators and community members.
• Ensure safety and welfare of the athletes is a top priority in practice and game situations.
• Be responsive to instructions and directions of the district Athletic Director and other appropriate school administrators.
• Present a professional image and provide a positive role model in terms of personal habits, language and conduct.
• Adhere to the District's policies
• Other duties as assigned
