Qualifications

• Knowledge of wrestling coaching best practices and strategies.
• Ability to plan and execute coaching sessions and practices.
• Understanding of equipment management and inventory processes.
• Experience with end-of-season reporting and administrative duties.
• Familiarity with safety trainings (First Aid/CPR) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach wrestling skills and game strategies to students.
• Maintain equipment and uniforms; complete yearly orders.
• Handle administrative duties including end-of-season reports.
• Ensure compliance with trainings: First Aid, CPR, Concussion, Heat-Illness Prevention.
• Plan and conduct coaching sessions and practices.
• Assist student-athletes with college recruitment processes.
• Develop a positive team culture and climate.
• Coordinate with school administration and staff.
• Communicate with families, booster clubs, and community groups.

Job Description

• Knowledge of the sport and utilizes best practices to teach skills and strategies
• Maintaining inventory of equipment and uniforms; Completing yearly orders
• Completing administrative duties- End of the season reports, County and State Play-Off paper work etc.
• Up-to-date on Mandatory Trainings - First Aid, CPR, Concussion, Heat-Illness Prevention, Fundamentals of Coaching and GCN
• Planning coaching sessions
• Assist College Bound Athletes with recruitment process
• Develop a positive team culture and climate
• Liaising with schools administration and faculty members
• Communicating with families, Booster Club, Community Groups and Feeder Programs
• Communication with the local media-outlets
