Yupiit School District/Akiak School in Alaska is seeking a Wrestling Head Coach to lead the high school program and coordinate with the Athletic Director and Principal. The role requires Alaska Coaching Certification, concussion awareness, CPR and first aid, plus prior coaching experience.

To apply candidate must have or be willing to obtain Alaska Coaching Certification and verification of approved concussion awareness course. An experienced coach who will develop a total high school program. Must be able to work as a team leader, and coordinate program with the building wide academic and co-curricular programs. Should have experience in coaching and have current CPR and first aid certification.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent plus at least two years demonstrated successful experience in general office work. Business college or equivalent training may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to develop effective working relationships with the principal, staff, students, parents, and community. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies. Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.
