Job summary

Alamance-Burlington Schools at Broadview Middle in Burlington, NC seeks an Athletic Coach for wrestling. The role supports the athletic program during the sports season, teaching skills, promoting sportsmanship, and ensuring safe practices.

The coach reports to the Athletic Director and Principal, works Monday through Friday evenings and some weekends, and coordinates with staff to schedule practices, manage equipment, and monitor student eligibility and conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Training in physical education or the specific sport.
• Any combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce athletic program policies.
• Ensure compliance with school, state, and conference regulations.
• Attend required meetings and coordinate with staff for the season.
• Design and deliver skill development sessions for athletes.
• Supervise practices and games and monitor athlete safety.
• Provide documentation for injuries and medical clearances.
• Assist in scheduling, transportation, and tournament logistics.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in good condition.
