Job summary

Mt. Hope High School in Bristol, Rhode Island, seeks two assistant wrestling coaches for the Winter 2026-2027 season, one for varsity and one for junior varsity, contingent on funding and sufficient sign-ups.

Coaches will report to the Athletic Director, promote good sportsmanship, and help manage administration, equipment, travel, and scheduling. RI coaching certification and current CPR/First Aid training are required, with recertification for NFHS RI rules and concussion course a must.

Qualifications

• Two assistant coaches needed for Winter 2026-2027, with varsity and JV assignments.
• Rhode Island Athletic Coach certification and current CPR/First Aid training are required.
• Annual recertification for NFHS RI rules test and concussion course required.
• Experience coaching at the secondary school level preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with all aspects of the interscholastic program.
• Support administration, budget, equipment, travel, scheduling and team management.
• Model respect, loyalty, character, sportsmanship and positive conduct.
