Qualifications

• Knowledge of district, athletic conference, and OSAA rules.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work with disgruntled adults and students.
• Ability to work with frequent interruptions.
• CPR/First Aid Certificate required.
• Valid Oregon driver license.
• ASEP Certified.
• Clearance of a criminal background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Coaches individual participants in skills necessary for excellence in wrestling.
• Follows the system of play as affirmed by the Head Coach.
• Plans and schedules a regular program of practice in season with Head Coach.
• Works closely with Head Coach on scheduling and finance matters.
• Provides supervision for athletes in dressing room and during travel.
• Maintains attendance forms and insurance records.
• Promotes sportsmanship, fair play, and good scholarship.
• Ensures safety of facilities during practice and games.
• Recommends equipment purchases and manages equipment care.
• Submits roster and season-end reports to Activities Director.
