Qualifications

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Prior coaching experience.
• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Florida teaching certificate or valid Department of Education athletic coaching certificate.
• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Valid FHSAA certification.
• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificate issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Florida Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist with planning, organizing, and conducting regular practice sessions.

• ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Ensure compliance with school, district, and state athletic regulations.
• ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist with maintenance of team equipment and uniforms.
• ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist with scheduling and facility use.
• ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintain open communication with parents and guardians.
• ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes on personal development and college opportunities.
