Job summary

Cumberland Regional High School in New Jersey is seeking an Athletics/Wrestling Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach in training wrestlers and guiding athletes to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities include assisting during practices, maintaining safety, monitoring injuries, and following CREA stipend guidelines for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• N.J. State Certification required.
• Available to work during assigned hours.
• Coaching and/or athletic record to substantiate knowledge.
• Familiar with care and treatment of student injuries.
• Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach with training athletes to compete individually or as a team.
• Support safety and injury prevention during practices and competitions.
• Assist with implementing training plans and game day routines.
• Review and follow the attached job description and CREA guidelines.

• 3. All candidates must have a successful coaching and/or Athletic record to substantiate knowledge and/or coaching potential related to the sport in question.
