Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana owned company, is seeking an employee to pickup and deliver customer vehicles within the Transportation/Logistics team. You will load and unload, complete vehicle paperwork, and communicate with customers to verify information while maintaining safety and teamwork.

The role requires a valid Class B license with airbrake endorsement, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass DOT physicals and background checks. Mon-Fri schedule, competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (past 3 years).
• Experience driving 4-car hauler with airbrakes.
• Class B License with Airbrake Endorsement.
• Ability to drive standard or automatic transmissions.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screen and background check.

Role and Team

This position is responsible for pick up and delivery of customer vehicles and reports to the Operations Manager or designated manager as part of the Transportation/Logistics team.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver customer vehicles
• Load and unload customer vehicles
• Prioritize safe driving and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana’s Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver Qualification Policy. Consistent, and safe driving is crucial for this role.
• Complete condition reports and complete paperwork related to the pick up and delivery of the vehicle
• Communicate with customers to verify vehicle information and condition of vehicles
• Maintain good flow of communication with all team members and practice good teamwork
• Inspect the wrecker or rollback to ensure the vehicle maintains good maintenance and safe driving conditions

Qualifications

• High School or GED required
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record for the past 3 years
• Experience driving 4-car hauler with airbrakes
• Class B License with Airbrake Endorsement
• Must be able to drive vehicles with either standard or automatic transmissions
• Effective customer relations, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen and a background check
• Previous DOT driving experience preferred
• Must be 18 years of age
