• Serve as the final inspector of product before it is displayed, ensuring quality and appearance standards are met.
• Ensure signage is correct and that all advertised items are available, informing the Bakery Manager of any out-of-stock products.
• Take customer orders at the bakery counter and answer the telephone promptly.
• Assist the designer by decorating and writing on cakes in the designer's absence.
• Assist the baker with pulling product from the freezer and dropping cookies, donuts, and similar items.
• Practice proper sanitation procedures and keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
• Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.

You will have continual exposure to cool temperatures and dampness, with frequent noise and occasional exposure to cleaning solvents and potential electrical hazards.
