Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a Wound Care Nurse responsible for prescribing, delegating and coordinating wound/ostomy nursing care for a defined patient group, including wound assessment, treatment planning and infection monitoring.

The role requires an RN license in the hiring state, WCC/WOCN certification, and graduation from an approved nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN). Full-time, days, 36 hours/week. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• WCC/WOCN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe, delegate and coordinate nursing care for wound/ostomy patients.
• Assess wounds, create and implement treatment plans, monitor infections.
• Educate other healthcare team members on proper wound care.
