Job summary

National Health Care Associates is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem shifts in our Long-Term Care and Rehab facilities in the Northeast. You will assess residents, create care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, have strong clinical skills, and are committed to compassionate elder care with the ability to guide LPNs and CNAs. Per diem and temp-to-hire options are available.

Qualifications

• Valid state RN license required.
• Experience in long-term care or wound care preferred.
• Strong bedside manner and patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and document medical information.
• Provide wound care and nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for holistic care.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs in care delivery.

What You'll Do:

As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
• Administering medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Providing wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery
• Overseeing and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care
